A small update about my bananas (Musa Basjoo).
The hight is about 2 meters. The longest leaf: a little more than 1 meter.

Keep exoting!

...and I can tell from those beautiful pristine leaves that you have no wind at all.

My musa was totally shredded from windstorms so I gave it to John.

Nice work, Godfryd.

Nice looking bananas! I had no idea that musa basjoos had red on the underside of their leaves.

Here are some pics of mine this week. The larger ones by the back shed have been in the ground for 3 seasons. The ones in the front of the house heve been in the ground for 2 seasons. Either way, they are ,monsters and are producing pups like crazy.....

Back yard bananas with chair for perspective. I couldnt even begin to try to measure them.....

Front garden bananas.....smaller but gaining ground, probably about nine feet tall....

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Glad you had great vacations and weather.

Yup, summer winding down big time here...still warm during the p.m. but a mid-September forecast predicts frostone night. 😥
I sure hope they're wrong.

I get tired just THINKING of how many plants have to be moved around/into buildings soon
😆
