Mostly M. basjoo represented in private gardens. Only Botanical garden have M. sikkimensis.

Hi Barb,

no, employes in BG protected them every winter. They cut bananas right down to ground level and heavy mulched around, and above them.

Oh yes, of course they'd need to be protected and mulched.

Was getting carried away seeing the unprotected palm successes... 😉
