I have had alot of my seeds germinate. Too many for me to enjoy. I'd like to give them away to someone local. (No Shipping)
I have some extra:
Christmas Palms (Adonidia Merrilli) (Seeds were picked by me in Mexico)
Date Palm (Phoenix Dactylifera) (Ebay Seeds)
Travellers Palm (Ravenala Madagascariensis) (Ebay Seeds from Australia)
Agave Americana (Ebay seeds)
None of these are very big (only a couple of inches tall) they all come in 12oz plastic cups
Just to make it fair for everyone I want to limit it to a couple of each.
If you have something to trade that might be fun too but not required.
Thanks
teebee

Teebee, are you evening the Hamilton area? It's kinda the halfway point between us. Maybe we can meet and trade plants. Or you are welcome to visit here in Beamsville. I have so many yucca and loquat and maclura.

Maybe some of you have too many of some plants too.
Why not list your "too many's" here.
I have too many (most all in 6" pots): Eriobotrya japonica, Asimina triloba, Yucca glauca, Yucca aloifolia, Yucca pallida, Maclura pomifera, Trachycarpus fortunei, And soon Phoenix dactylifera 'Medjool'. Message me if you want to trade.
#1 on my want-list is a 5 year old or older Jubaea chilensis. #2 is Phoenix theophrasti

Good idea
"Too Many" is a great idea.
IMO, if we are willing to ship Canada-wide, it evens out with the stuff we're receiving.
I'm all for that.
When/if my little seedlings survive, will have some to offer too.
So far the ones that've popped are: Nannorrhops ritchiana, Nannorrhops arabica (silver), Sabal minor (McCurtain), Brahea armata.
EDIT: oh, and Chamaerops humilis (cerifera), Phoenix dactylifera "Medjool" and "Deglet Noor" 1 year old seedlings.

Re: Good idea
I'd be concerned about something going wrong in shipping and them ending up dead. That's why I'd prefer just to giving them away locally.lucky1 wrote:"Too Many" is a great idea.

Sounds like they're doing really well, teebee.
Shipping is a risk, but it's been done with careful prep.
