Jay,
I am finally planting my yucca elata today. I will post a pic when I am finished.
Your Yuccas look great.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

So Aaron, in 5 years we will see a good sized trunk, awesome!!!!
How big will the trunk be in that time?
It will be interesting to see the growth pattern of this yucca in a dry very warm to hot summers but shorter growing period and cold winters like Jay's climate compared to my climate of dry warm summers but warm wet to very wet winters. My growing period can be all year round like last winter but I lack the heat that I believe yuccas like for ultimate growth.
It should be interesting.
Jay and I will have to compare notes.
