Hello I know a few of you I have traded with before. I ordered some Trachycarpus Tesan seeds from that guy in China who posted a message on this board a while back saying he was selling them for the first time in the USA. These are the same ones hes sells from http://www.coldplant.com/plantlist.asp?ArticleID=65 I have some seeds straight from china harvested fresh last season they grow in Beijing zone 6 to zone 7 unprotected and I also have about 200 seedlings I started my self about a month ago. I have had better than 85% germination rate. Tesan seeds are almost the same size a reg. Fortunei but the fruit is about the size of a blue berry and very waxy. The leaves are slightly smaller than fortunei and can take a little wind. They also are slightly shorter as adults than reg. Fortunei. One last thing is the adult leaves a very powdery waxy look to the underside. Here is a pic of the seedlings. If your interested just shoot me a email.
