Have you considered starting from seed?

I've given mine to John (okanagandesertpalms)...was going through too many bandaids.
The needles are deadly.
And each week, trying to keep the clover out of the pot was a real pain.

It looked like hell here, didn't like the hot dry desert winds last summer.

Nice looking palm. Youve done a good job over wintering it. Last year I had two first years pull even with protection.

Marceli.... this Ebay seller from Spain sells a nice multistemmed plant for €32 and cheap postage http://www.ebay.de/itm/Rhapidophyllum-h ... 3cc54fa2db

InsanePalmNinja.... These are very hardy palms but your extra protection has come up trumps. Your summer heat will get them going, well done :D

Maybe not since I had this one for 2 winters now. and there looking this good also. I noticed the American Palms are way more hardy than the rest are. Maybe beacuse there in there Conented where there native too. The hottest the Palms have seen Plus Humundly is around 120 Degrees at least four differet times.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.
