Wow, that IS cold...good you've got tons of snow!
About two weeks later, it'll be descending on us...
I'm with marceli, and vote for spring.

Quite the news for the UK.
The rain and sleet will move southwards over the country while other parts will stay dry following clear spells. A cold wind is expected to sweep the entire country as temperatures struggle to rise above 4C or 5C.
forecaster at MeteoGroup, the weather division of the Press Association, said a mixture of showers and sleet is likely to continue throughout the day.
"Down south will experience mostly rain but some snow is likely to fall on higher ground
And that follows last week's heavy rains and flooding
Andy's probably cursing

Thanks, Tim. It's moving down here from the East (minus 40 C 1000 km east off my place) and from the North (minus 36 north of my place.) The Great Siberian Anticyclone!

Palms, palms, palms!
Your palms did very well
LAST winter, Igor, with excellent protection.
And all that snow.
I hope the northern cold stays north of you.
