Everyone's heard of the 1908 Siberia meteorite.
This picture shows "impact breccia"...the "pieces from the splash" (if we can call it that) are slathered up the wall of the mountain! The sheer size of those pieces...

this picture is not cool or unusual, but I just set it up as my new screen saver for a while. Its a picture taken in March 2005 (springbreak) from the house we rented in Bonita Beach Florida. It was so nice to sit on the deck every morning have coffee, read the paper and answer work emails and no one knew I was out of town. That is the Gulf Of Mexico in the background. Bonita Beach is about 20 miles north of Naples Florida in Southwest Florida.
