Reading about Bermuda grass Erik, someone has their work cut out, Can't you just kleep it short by mowing, your friend can't be expected to pull out such tough grass by hand. What about spading it up after mowing? Use a spray of strongish weedkiller but keep the horses away, well away. They are beau...

Do you have somewhere in your garden for the birds? I made a rough patch border. I don't like my garden, no wait..I hate this garden. It came with four aging Leylandi, brown with hole here and there, it also has plastic sheeting where it should be black weed fabric, then they should have laid nice d...

Hey Erik, Very cool shelters. At least they are not too open to the elements. You can plant pots for the summer, then take them out but they would be very dirty pot bottoms then..yuck! When I move I will plant the palms cus I heard they are safer in soil than pots, pots freeze so that makes sense. I...

Eaten Fronds
Hi Everyone, I have a new flush but something finds the flush very tasty. When I felt at the fronds/leaves I was shocked to feel how soft. I thought they would be like my other one, stiff. What about slugs, Earwigs would they want to chew them? I had to cover with another pot overnight to deter. :( :(
