Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Tim is probably falling off his chair laughing, Aaron.

That's what I said...only in a PM, because well, I had a cheeky comment about what the two little round things were. 😉
Because "they" land on the ground when the rabbit stops hopping... :laughing9:

😆

Thanks for the input. I've got loads of rabbits at my house but never seen them leaves tracks like this before. These unknown tracks were taken at a project site in western Coventry, Rhode Island near the Connecticut line.....lots of woods with little development. So far I have 2 votes for rabbit, bear, bobcat, fisher cat, and mountain lion. I'll let you know when I get more info. We got more snow last night so I'll try to get out their again to if I see more tracks.

PS, one other vote too......my daughter watches 'Finding Bigfoot' and thought it was a juvenile bigfoot since the show recently had an episode in this area of Rhode Island..... LOL.

Hi Paul,

perhaps 'little foot' LOL.

Here's a few shots of what the rabbit footprints look like in our area. We have small rabbits here on the east coast....you guys have huge rabbits!! LOL

Tim, those first few photos show quite a long "stride", something was chasing him?

Love the bigfoot/littlefoot guesses...

Snow looks nice on your plants Tim...I seem to recall that structure leaning precariously from snow weight other years 😯

Still a mild winter for you.
Good!

Barb

Hi Barb,

yes I recall the 'lean' last year on the structure..........the leaning greenhouse!! Could have used some more lateral support. LOL Not bad for 1/2" steel conduit.

Attaboy, Tim, looks a little straighter this year.

OK what's the ruling on the footprints?
Giant mice?

No confirmation on tracks yet. Someone went to site today with the new snow but only saw deer tracks. He thinks it was bear tracks

Keep me updated!
If the tracks go into mud, take a photos from there. That'll give th emost detail. Also, set a common object for scale (or better yet a ruler) next to the most clear track.

Tim, better yet, make a plaster cast of the impression, right Erik? 😛 😛

And set up camera traps for night. Erik will show you how.
