Well it's confirmed the lizard I brought back from Florida by accident is alive and well. I found him after all my trees were unloaded.
The funny thing is, he stayed right in the same area I dropped him off in. He must like the three giant lavenders as
protection. It's a good thing he stays there so I can rescue him when the cold comes.
I also have at least 3 Hyla cinerea tree frogs as well. These might be more difficult to capture. I knew where 2 of the 3 where, they were in my dwarf cavendish but when I removed some of the dead leaves I disturbed them. Now I hear them in my 100 year old holly bush! My neighbors must be confused? Not only does my yard look like a jungle but it sounds like one too 🙄 I'll have to atleast look for them when it gets cold. Heres the only picture I have it was a traveler on my large Serona rapens before I planted it in April.

LOL, thats GREAT. Nothing says Florida more than a Palm with an Anole.

He looks a little anorexic. Heres a few on my citrus tress. These guys are everywhere in my palms & citrus.

Well Guys I found the tree frogs, they are living under my jet-ski seat. I heard them today and creeped over there nice and quiet, sure enough they were there. That's good now I can get them before winter comes.
Laaz your lizards do look a lot better feed than mine do, you must have more bugs!!!! 😀 He was accually pretty small when I first saw him. I wish he would eat some japanese beetles! I'll get some pictures of the frogs in there new home, they looked happy.

Bill those tree frogs & anoles are native here. Once the rain clouds start piling up the whole neighborhood is alive with the tree frogs howling...

I figured you didn't import them from Fla. in a penske truck LOL 😀 ! I would love to live down your way some day, people are so much nicer down there. Plus you can't beat the 8/b 9/a climate, I would also love to have a 200 year old live oak in my yard.

Nice, the anole in the first pic is a brown anole. I belive it is native to Cuba, but has spread through out the south-east. 😀

Well guys, I guess my anole was a girl since today I just noticed a baby. It a speedy little guy too! It's only about
1 inch long and dark black to light brown. It took me quiet a while to get a picture of him since he's not used to seeing
me yet. The older momma lets me get really close and dosen't even run. Should help when I need to catch it this fall.
This picture is super zoomed in so it looks way bigger than it actually is the back ground plant is lavender. I know there
not pretty like the ones at your place Todd but my anorexic lizard has managed to pop out a kid not to bad. I have plans to bring them to the 12000 sq. ft. botanical garden in Providence this fall.

That's funny. I used to have them as pets at one time. You see them all over Florida. That's a good idea to do with them. Hope you can catch them!
