Warming trend?

Yesterday we had a temperature of 8C with heavy rain with some rumbles of thunder. We had 25 cm of snow on the ground and now its only 9 cm. I have beenlooking on the forecast and the 6 day looks very promising for warm weather. On the 14 day trend is showing temperature from 4C to 10C with a few -3 drops.I think global warming is starting to hit us because all the storms we had this year were freezing rain and ice pellets and rain when sometimes they are calling fore just plain snow so we did not have a bad snow storm at all but it could change but I am hoping for warmer weather.People on the BC coast are getting lucky to see some warm temperatures and hope for the same for us. Hope January does not turn out crap.

So far so good. The temps inside have never gone below -2*C since that cold spell. I will open up the shelter when it gets close to 0* sometime around January 1st. While I install an emergency heat lamp, I can check and see if the light and moisture levels have been good and if the Yucca elephantipes has shown any damage yet.
