We took our grandson last year. $300 for the 3 of us for 6 hours entertainment. But with bottled water at $4 etc. etc. it wasn't that bad. As long as you only do it once every 10 years.

It only got down to -2*C last night and 1.7*C in the garage. I may have a little leaf damage on the dwarf Cavendish & Rajapuri bananas. Everything else looks fine. 🙂

You don't have to be crazy to grow palms in Alberta..... But it helps

Only -2c. 😯 Yikes ... where you expecting colder? It's it a bit late even in Edmonton for this kind of cold?
Well back to the lawn cutting. It's forecast for a chance of rain tomorrow. First rain in a week as it's been sunny every day!

Cheers, Barrie.

It was forecast at -3 Barrie. We don't put any bedding plants into the ground until about the May 24th long weekend because of the chance of frost.

But my Greenhouse is on order and I will be getting my garage back. All I am getting is a 6' x 8' double wall aluminum framed unit.

Will do, Barrie.

It will be a while as I cut my arm-10 stitches-with the angle grinder yesterday afternoon. Drove myself to the hospital and waited 5 1/2 hours to get stitched up. The only thing that they did in the interim was wrap more bandages around the wound every time the blood leaked through. No pain relief until they were ready to stitch me up.

My wife is getting used to coming home from work to blood in the kitchen & bathroom. Her only comment on the towel that I used as a tourniquet/pressure bandage was 'it had to be a new one'. I didn't like the color so it wasn't much of a loss.

Alberta, the land of milk & honey. Sour milk and crystalized honey.

I'll be a one fingered typist for about a week and won't be doing too much lifting for a couple of weeks. At least I keep injuring my left arm.

Geez Allen ... You gotta take it easy (and care) with the equipment. I guess the medical system is as stessed in Alberta as it is in BC. Waiting 5 1/2 hrs is unaceptable even in many third world countries.
I'd be lost without my left arm as I use both fairly equally. I guess my brain never settled on left or right as primary usage.

Cheers, Barrie.
