It`s been very warm 90f plus 33c+ here in the Okanagan Valley B.C. for weeks now. The whole western part of Canada is having a heat wave as well as the Pacific Northwest of the U.S.. Our crappy spring and early summer have equalized. I wonder if it has something to do with the hurricane season in the Atlantic? All good except for the tinder dry forest, and fires here.

More likely the jet stream dipping to the south finally/again in the east.
So,a large ridge builds out west.
This seesaw pattern in the jet is disturbing-
most likely another very cold winter-at least in the east.

It is insane to make any sense of the weather. I have given up. At least you guys are finally getting some warmth. It is still humid here but not as hot, 80's now during the days. May finally get to open up the house this week! Can't wait.

There was a pair of Omega blocks that passed over western canada over the last week or so. Its been 20-25c here, not the 35C in southern alberta, but Ill take it!

Tomorrow, 14C and rain.....

We are still getting warm temps. Last week saw near 90f 33c. Cooling off this week with mid 70`s last two days. One day of rain in over a month.

It's lovely...glad that the blistering heat is gone.

Gorgeous sunshine and blue sky...maybe we'll have a Fall this year.
Looking forward to the hills turning gold and red soon.

It's been raining on and off here for a week, mostly on.
Strange.

The 4-day PGA golf tourney in San Martin California that started yesterday showed an almost torrential downpour and cool temps.

Maybe that Hurricane in the Pacific is at fault...and the continuing Omega blocks in Canada.

Barb there are going to be two hurricanes by the looks of it. Irwin and now Joba. http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/refresh/graphics_ep5+shtml/025046.shtml?5-daynl#contents. We`ve been watching these with interest.
It looks like the track takes it into the area of Manzanillo, Colima state. I hope it doesn`t make to much of a mess as we will be there in Dec.

Have never before paid attention to hurricanes/cyclones in the Pacific...don't we usually get our weather out of Siberia 😆 😆 ?
Looks like it's going W/NW, and yet it's gonna land in Mexico???? hmmm.

Manzanillo? Maybe drive (versus flying) your truck ... young palms might be half dug up for you.

The two hurricanes are tracking to hit the middle West coast of Mexico early next week. We would love to drive down if we were going to stay the winter. It is in the future plans. Don`t mention Siberia BRRRRR!!!!! 8)
