So, is it raining enough for y'all?

You've heard about the tragedy at the campground in Arkansas.
Today, OKC has had 8" of rain. We've had less than half that here, but it is still a lot, fast, and still coming down.
Anyone else enjoying a bit too much of a good thing? --Erik
Ya!
Enough already
I've got mushrooms growing in my Coconut palm pot. 😡

Fingers crossed that everyone's OK...folks evacuated in OK and KS...

PS--Erik, I now remember the two colors on that pot 😕 it looked like mud at first 😆

If you drink, don't drive. Don't even putt.
Yes, it was pretty bad in OKC.
Here, we got just 2.5", which is about the lowest around. Still enough to break the Tulsa "June 14" record, though.
The back-yard drainage system we are putting in worked quite well. We were scheduled to have gutters put up yesterday as part of that drainage improvement plan but the workers cancelled on us. Go figure!

By the time this front pushes through (finally) today,we will have had close to 14" in 5 weeks.
I haven't checked the rain gauge yet(it just poured again),anyway the bananas and tropicals are in tropical heaven
with all the warmth and water.
I just hope my cactus don't explode 😯

Wow! Yes, very "tropical" lately.
My only cactus and yucca are in pots so I'm not worried about them. I set the new (small) royal palm and Trachy "takil" ( 😆 ) in pots set into the ground. I pulled those pots up so they at least drain. The holes have standing water which gives me a sense of how the roots of everything else are right now: in water.
