Cute, Keith.
Let's hope some idiot doesn't come along and help himself to your presents. 😉
Looks like you're all set for the cold that's coming.
Are you adding a light in your G'house for these dark gloomy days?

Barb, congrats on the first snow.
We skiied today in London, Ontario. About 175km west of us here... I didnt know they got pummelled with snow (52cm) last weekend.
Unbelievable lake effect snow quantities in that area.

It was nice to ski in November in Ontario at 3'c.
We skiied the woods, where there was still more than ten inches of powder, since it was opening day we made fresh tracks in the out-of-bounds... 🙂 Way to teach my 5 year old on his first day, Adam!! Good times. Hope everyone that wants to, gets a chance to do the same this season.
Oh Keith, good palm wrap holiday disguises!

out-of-bounds.
...and we wonder how kids learn to ski "out of bounds" 😆 😆 their parents take 'em there. 😆
Glad you had fun Adam, and your temps are still nice and mild.
OK...we've got snow this a.m.
Bah humbug.
Brutal cold arrives tomorrow 😥

Thanks Barb and Adam. I am ready for the cooler weather, not saying I want the cooler weather, the heated huts seem to be plenty warm even with only 5 C9 lights per hut. Also Barb I have a goji berry plant I got berries first year but not last year. It is still alive and i do not cover over winter. I do not know if you need two or more plants to pollinate.
Keith
Yeah, Keith, I don't want the cold either 😆
I didn't see Goji berry plants when Art Knapps was having their close-out sale.
Ended up buying a "hardy kiwi".
Glad to hear it can survive in the Okanagan.
I'll look for one in Spring.
Even this Sask Mongolian Goji seed seller doesn't say whether you need one or two plants.
But your fruit set is likely proof one is enough.

Get out the wool socks 😉 here comes the Arctic air...BRRRRR. :verycold:

Barb I got the goji berry from the flower spot on Okanagan landing road
Great! I usually get some annuals there early Spring.
Thanks!

My area has not had much snow so far - only a couple of dustings. Temps have hit -10 C for lows twice, and I still haven't protected my plants! Hopefully I can accomplish that this week.

And sadly not much more in Oregon, where my palms are in the ground. 😥

I know how you feel when you have interest in another part of the county and have no idea how the plants are doing. 😡 I hope they are doing good for you. 😉
Sense I have had my place in AZ, 2 of the 3 coldest winters on record have hit that area. So, i'm hoping all this cold is not a new norm for the area. 🙄
Shoshone Idaho weather

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

It's crazy here; what was supposed to be a coating to an inch is now upgraded to 6 to 10 inches through this evening....pretty outside.....

Photos, please!
6 to 10 inches is "light snow"? so your weather sticker says. 😆
Bet your parents are watching your CIDP in Oregon, Erik.
Maybe they've thrown a blanket over it.
