I'm surprised we haven't had any snow, yet. Not that I miss it!

We're bare ground too.
And I love it.

Hi Aaron.....your yard looks like it has a LOT OF WIND! Any plant which survives your yard is hardy in my opinion. 8)

It does in the winter and spring, hard too keep branches on the trees from all growing on one side. 😆 The wind has caused a death or here in the garden. Because of the protection in town, somethings grow there that I can't seem too grow out here. Like pumpas grass. 😡

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Aaron, wow, haven't seen a shot from that angle before.
You've done so much to define the outdoor spaces...very very nice.

Obviously a labour of love.

Yup, can imagine the wind howling there.
But the open skies are worth it.

Barb

Yes...a labor of love. I wonder how the next owner will love it. 😆

Thanks, it's been a lot of fun. 😀

Or did you mean in 50 years or so? 😆

We got some last night too, not quite as much as Adam shows, but close.

My place in Sydenham got NAILED though, snow day for those lucky bunch.

You can see my Miscanthus bent to the ground in this one:

And to the right here you, of course, see a lovely Magnolia grandiflora 'Edith Bogue' all wrapped up for a zone 4 winter!

Usually I'm in the snow belt. Glad to see I only have a scuff of snow vs. Adam. But Adam will have the last laugh when his palm huts come down 3-4 weeks before mine and go up 3-4 weeks after mine...

Tim, that might be true.
Barb, the gojis have been in ground now three years, flowered but no fruit yet. Getting quite tqll and woody.

Could it be you need 2 to get fruit?
I'll watch its development with interest.

Looks like you've selected a good spot for it...probably grow there but not here.
