Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Tropical greenhouses will be my sanctuary far before we can actually move South permanently 😉 .

I must say Bill, your place in the summer looks more south than the state of Florida. Very well done. 8)

Bill,
I've been worried about your new GH after seeing all the snow Tim has. Can you share a snapshot to reassure us it is still standing?

Hi Erik,
todays 1/2" of forecasted snow turned into 2.5" and tomorrow nights storm is forecasted to be this:
Bill and I are in the 10" zone.
But snow is good in winter except for the southwest cactus/yuccas....which I have.....go figure. This year may be a good test for one of my unprotected Yucca rostratas......we'll how it fairs.

Surprising to see so much snow so close to the coast Tim!

Tim,
that is what I feared--that you two were getting the worst of it.
Your structures have held up to it, though.
I don't know much about the Yucca but I think of them as tough so I predict yours will be fine. 😀

Is it just me, or is the east coast getting worse and worse winters?????
As far back as i remember, lots of the big storms would miss most of the eastern seaboard, and hit canada. Sure, the east coast is right on the path that storms follow in the winter, and i knwo the east coast is usualy hammered a few times in the winter, but ive never seen maritime canada get hit by northeaster, after noreaster, with a few weatherbombs in there for good measure:P Theyve been getting hit my a noreaster or a big storm pretty much every week since november
Hopefully some of the older members can elighten me, because i seem to have grown up in a gerneraly warm time...
