Interesting data here:

A lot of zig-zagging, but a definite pattern nevertheless.

IT means the oceans and the global temps have risen since the 1880s, the graphs show the rise in temps staring after the 1900s. The highest temp swings are in the northern hemesphere, more namely the northern latitudes (23 - 90 degrees north).

The further north you are, the more pronounced the change is, according to these graphs.

Good one, Adam! 😆 😆

Nice summary, Jesse.
We'd all like warmer winters.
But hotter summers are getting scary.

During the great global warming debate many years ago key figures in the warmist lobby made stupid statements like "future generations of Children growing up will not see snow again like their predecessors." Our last warm Summer here was 2006. Summers since then have been mediocre to say the least. We certainly did go through a warming trend here but are now in a cooling trend with Winters colder also. The general worry this side of the pond is that melting artic ice (fresh water) will cut off the current direction of the north atlantic drift and in doing so give us Winters similar to Moscow 😯

yikes, Andy.

I've envied you your "north Atlantic drift" for ages.
I can't begin to imagine those warm southern currents getting cut off.
Send 'em this way if they do...
