It'd be cool finding a meteorite.

All I've heard is that they all have a "molten" (smooth) leading edge, are heavier than what you'd expect a rock that size to weigh, and never contain quartz.

Meteorites of good size command high prices.
Lots of folks will be scouring the Prairies this weekend. 🙂

good luck finding a meteorite. It amazing more stuff from space is not found on the planet. I bet if you can find the sock I lost last weekend while doing laundry there will be tons of space junk with it. lol.
