I can verify from the hot tub that Hurricane Earl is a total washout...Some big waves at the beach, but nearly no rain and no high winds.....Wussy!!!!!! 8)

We got about 3-4 inches of rain and gusts to 45 ish, nothing to write home about, I'm glad though. It might have been windier the day after it went by 😆

Bill,
I'm glad. I worried about you, or at least your bananas!
Mike,
thanks for the reminder to get the hot tub repaired. I shivered in the pool last night. 😡

Thanks Erik!

I was a bit worried myself when it was a cat 4 145 mph not knowing where it was headed. A strong cat 2 up here would do a ton of damage if it passed to the west, it would be like the 1938 hurricane all over again.

I took pictures of the nanas the day of the storm just in case they got majorly beat up, 45 mph winds spared them. It was kinda cool watching them blow all over the place though.

Glad you took those photos.
I'm up next, but in a small way. TS Hermine will be here Wednesday/Thursday; 3" of rain expected. Today just super windy and hot. --Erik

Yeah? We really needed it though....we were down about 6 or 7 inches. Some places in PA got 8 to 10 inches and N. Carolina some parts from the same storm got 18 to 21 inches in 24 hrs..... 😯
