Past few nights have been in the low 20's f here, but I would take that over snow any day of the week. 😯

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

OMG (to our friends in Boston and Jersey, etc.)

Fortunately only a 1 day snowstorm.

We'll soon beat 'em with 3 months of it. 😥 😥

Thats always the story here too... cept the leaves are usually gone... I bet everything will be fine. IF you have bamboo, bend it to the ground, theyre calling for "heavy wet" snow

I do have bamboo, but down here in SOuth jersey, it is mainly rain and freezing and I mean FREEZING Flippin' rain.....no real accumulation, although the snow and ice do look quite odd on my cannas and musas....Amazing!!!

You took the words out of my mouth Erik.
Mike, are you saying that plumeria stays out winter, or is it in a pot?

The last three shots are gorgeous, have never seen a camellia that tall, and look at those nanners! 😯

Come back, summmer!!!!!

Careful jogging on that slippery stuff.
Crappy horrible ugly awful stuff.

The plumeria does come in eventually...It can take a few freezes I think. Then I put it in a dark basement and let the elaves all drop off. I remember my friends in Fort Lauderdale have a huge one outside, and last December it froze and lost all the leaves in the long cold spell there, came back just fine. The camelias are amazing aren't they. They are soooo big. I basically forget about them as they are planted on the sid eof the house where I never usually go. I'll post another pic to show how big they have grown in the past five years.
