Frost warning the next 2 days ( including this morning makes it 3 days in a row). I have almost everything planted ( veggies, annual tropical vines, and a bunhc of other stuff, including a russian olive and a prolificly flowering rhodie, and half of my house plants). After a month of NO frost we get hit at the end of the month. Welcome to canada 👿

That's the pits Jesse.
Just invert buckets, wastebaskets...anything you can find...over the plants to get you through.
Even a lawnchair works to keep cold air from settling over tender plants.

We've cooled off again too, heavy overcast skies, no sun at all.

Cheated out of spring this year! 👿

THats what ive done barb, and tarps and patio cusions. Even my ficus all came through fine.

Last frost her eis juen first on average, its just a pain in the ass after literaly 3 or 4 weeks of no frost at all.

I seen your "raincast' for the last few weeks cameron. Horrible, yet not that bad. I seen your forcast for this week. Very nice!

My parents live in Oregon, at about 45oN latitude and it is cold there, too. They'll get snow down to 4,000 ASL in the next few days.

Yup, the rockies still have 10M snowpacks in some areas. THe only thing is, im only 150M above sealevel, not 5000M! The lake is going to play its part ( it alrady has). The advantage to having a small yard with 2 big buildings is it keeps frost out!

It isnt too uncommon for utah right? Other then a pain in the ass?

I read the other day that a place 20 miles north of here
once had 4-6" inches of snow on May 23-WTF! 😯

My weather sticker is in AZ because I have land there, but I live in Idaho. It is kind of crazy. 😆

Luck for me...I did not wake-up with snow on the ground. 😀

Oh man, Aaron, glad you didn't get snow.
But the frost can stay away ... puhlease!

We're cold and rainy today...poop!

I think my poor Cocos nucifera wants to crawl back inside the husk...bringing the palm in again. 😕
Others will have to stay outdoors and brave the cold winds.
My floor dolly (to move them) should have an odometer...I've already put a mile on that thing hauling plants in and out. No more!

Chin up Aaron...the heat's coming.

Well last day of frost warnings.... last night was supposed to be -3C, is probably a bit warmer then that, it looks like most of the frost we had is gone!
