First real winter storm

🙁 Our first real snow will come tonight with 10-15 cm of snow and freezing rain tomorrow morning changing in rain later on, real mess... there s few pics of my Washingtonia and Trachycarpus. I unwrapped both Trachy to see the result last week when we had +12c temp. outside. All palms doing well. We got one -18c 2 weeks ago and numbers of days and night below 0c to -10c.

-18C already? It's been warm down here......low of 20F (-6.6C).

Yes Tim, that was 10c below the minimum normal temp. for that time of the year. But we have temp. over the average since few month, even few years...youppi..in the past, i remember we had that kind of cold snap ( below -20c) a lot days during the winter, starting in december. But since few years, we have only few days with minimum temp. below -20c. (3-5 days per winter).
