Barrie, do you have the link for that study?
i.e. the rest of the province?
I like that format.

Sorry Barb, I don't. In fact I don't recall where I got this Vancouver Island section. I found it while looking though some old discs. I've seen world wide versions of low resolution, the good versions are sold. I don't think they're as detailed as this from what I can remember. I wonder if they could be found using Google?
Cheers, Barrie.
I did find this low resolution but informative version.

My zone is Coastal Douglas Fir (yellow) ... are you able to find yours?
Cheers, Barrie.
Barrie, nope, couldn't get "closer" than this, which explains native plants in my zone:

The map wasn't clickable for me...
Interesting nevertheless. Thanks.

Barrie, this is from the Royal BC Museum...similar, but still not clickable.

Found a more detailed map of my region / zone. The only portion of this map that somewhat unrelated at least in native vegetation would be the section on the lower mainland from Vancouver (Southlands) thru Richmond, South Delta, West Surrey to White Rock. There are a number of indictator trees and shrubs in the rest of the zone that do not grow or are not native in that part of the mainland.
Rainfall totals and pretty much all of the rest of the info applies. That area of the mainland is the flatest peice of land you'll find anywhere in BC and is very near sea level in most cases.
Cheers, Barrie.
