Hope all our palmsnorth south friends are fine...what a horrible storm that hit you folks Kansas-way.
We're thinking of you...hope there's no damage at your place.

Hi Barb,
I'm in Ottawa county, Couple close calls tonight, initial reports of some damage and injuries .....won't know the full extent until tommorow.

County reported one fatality and five injured in last nights storms, Hopefully we will hear from some of the other members out this way.

Hope your all ok in Kansas. I have been on the road the last three days so i haven't seen too much news. I'm in Winnemucca, Nevada right now doing some work on my laptop while my wife is doing some gambling. That's what really sucks about running free web hosting service and hosting clients webstes is that i have to always work.

Oh well, in two days we will be in Las Vegas and i'm not working. 😀

Well not much anyway. 😀

Jay - I'm about ready to load up the car and head to Vegas Myself 😆

We just can't catch a break here............. The rivers are rising and we might have to evacuate before the day is done.
Eastern half of Kansas is getting quite a bit of rain today, Hope all those over there do well!

I am roughly 20 miles south of Kansas City and the rain is relentless. At my house we've had about 4 inches of rain in the last 36 hours. My rain gauage tops out at 4", so maybe more, I just dumped it out this morning before work. I could've saved money today by taking the canoe to work, but I don't have a canoe. Bad weather sucks. It appears we have several more days of stormy weather. Good luck to all affected by these storms and rising waters.

Some pictures from the Salina,KS area this afternoon,

This is the Saline River at Tescott,KS........Have my fingers crossed, another foot or two and I will be needing a canoe myself. ( Normally between 4' and 5' gauge height, currently 26' - Flood Stage is 25')

OMG,

I hope you guys are all ok. Thats terrible what happened!!! It's all over the news. I have been in a little tornado and it was scary I can imagine what they went through!
