Bizzie went outside? Ya, well... We've got 2cm of snow followed by rain and freezing rain! Beat that!

Tim is going to get snow out of the same system; it caused a tornado east of here, in Branson, Missouri, overnight.

Wow Erik, OK is setting heat records for summer and winter
We Canadians are BIZZIE shovelling snow.

Wet snow here on and off all day, one inch on the ground.

This blog post by Dr. Jess Masters wunderground) gives a summary of the tornadoes down here and the snow up north:

No damage here, and we got up to 26 C today so I was watering potted plans outside! 😀

Thanks for the Dr. Masters link; always interesting stuff from him.

If you're at 26C on March 1st, what will your temps be end-July/August? 😯

Erik- That's the only downside I can see to the West Coast, lack of heat! Well, maybe the rain too... Still they are able to grow a massive range of interesting plants that we can only dream of trying!

I ran a race in Vancouver one June and had to wear a jacket the entire time. Luckily one day the sun did come out for a few minutes!

maybe the rain too

That was the deciding factor in our decision to move to the Okanagan.
Here IF we get rain, we head inside for a coffee and it's over in 10 minutes.

In Vancouver it rains for 5 or 6 days non stop.
Skies always so grey and threatening.

But yes, the West Coast's plant varieties are enviable.

When the sun DOES come out, there's no place more beautiful with the ocean and mountains.
