If so you are lucky

I have three potted that i am waiting for the first leaf to push. I can send you a germinated seed or you can wait until they push up a strap leaf. Shoot me an email if you want one.

Not the pot I was expecting........

Wes, yes they are. There are some nice one's here in Charleston. Bismark are much hardier than reported to be.
Mike & Craig, let me know !

For anyone interested, check the forums for the recent freeze in CA. None of the Bismark's were harmed.

Checked the Bismarks today. After 3 months in a Tall tree pot, they are still sending their roots out with no sign of the first strap leaf. I will send you one out as soon as I get a decent strap leaf.

I recall these being root sensitive and wonder if shipping from California would be a challenge for them?
Cheers, Barrie.

Barrie they are very root sensitive. The site says they ship bare root which is my concern. I emailed them to see if these are shipped in the container or not. Will let you know when I get a response.

Hmmm.... Here's the response I got...

<<this is George from Cycads-n-Palms.com
At this time we are not shipping but will resume in a few weeks.
We ship the Bizmarckias bare-rooted all the time with no problems.
Last season we shipped about 4500 SizeA plants,2000 1gallon plants and 500 5gallon plants - we do not ship 15 gallon plants.
We can ship in the pots which makes them very expensive.>>
