Posting this under Germination simply BECAUSE it's so exciting !!!!!
I dropped in on John a few days ago.

And there it was...a Trachycarpus that had set and developed seeds.
No other palm tree had bloomed anywhere nearby.

Should'a had a beer can for scale :lol: but the base of this Ensete is easily 25 inches circumference:

Barb thanks for the visit and the palm tree + palmagranate seedling you gave me. One day earlier and all of my palms were still out. PS. Your camera takes much better pics than mine.

sorry let me wipe up my DROOL! Great Palms. It's also great to see that single Trachy produce seed.

I find that sooooo exciting too, Tim.

And, along the same lines :lol: :lol: now that John's GONE :D , I can say it!!!!!!!!
