Hello. I've just begun work on a desert garden here in zone 6a Indiana. I'm looking to get some starts off of several species of cold hardy cactus, or anything else that would make sense in a garden like this. If anyone can help me out, please let me know! I don't really have much for trade, other than lots of musa basjoo pups, but I am willing to buy. Thanks in advance!

I have some Imbricata shoots that are still alive and some Opuntia if you interested.

The Opuntia is from Texas supposedly hardy to zero and I think is but needs to be bone dry for sometime before winter.

Jova,
I have a basement full or cacti that is hardy in our climate here in Southern Ma. I'm not really sure what it all is but I'm sure I could send you
stuff when the weather warms up.

Let me know.
Bill

from my experience, opuntias are full hardy in my climate, zone 7a 6b. fragilis, humifusa, compressa, imbricata, phaeacantha camanchica. few more would be promissing, like basilaris, polyacantha, erinacea ursina...
