Mike,

Your place could just as easily be a picture from the Canary Islands.
Gorgeous lush gardens.

Glad that huge storm missed your place.

Can't wait to see that plumeria bloom.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Thanks. yeah the pups are good sparring partners, our dobie grabs onto the older female's neck and does not let go, she flips him and then it's on....Great viewing pleasure!

Thanks Tim, funny you should mention Florida. I'm off to South Beach Miami for the week to "escape" the heat this very morning...less hot there....This is brutal! Can't wait to explore the everglades and hopefully wrestle an alligator or two?

Saw the coolest tree today here in Fort Lauderdale: Madagascar Screw Palm...I want one. Huge "pine cone" looking fruit pods abut the size of large grapefruits. I picked some fruits and they were pretty stinky, but interesting. Can't eat them raw. Maybe cook them up to see how they taste??? two pics to follow

Looks almost surreal, as though a pineapple crossed with a dracaena.

Wanted to see more pics of it, and google images found this:
