Hello dear friends,
I ordered off eBay 100 trachy X wagnerianus seeds. The seller was presenting them as fresh harvest (anyway, I doubt about that) and it arrived two days ago. Now look at them how they look! Are these fresh? Is it gonna germinate? In some of them, you can see a hole...
Please advise. The user I bought them from is bananajoe from Canada.
How fresh are these trachy seeds

All trachy and yucca seeds i buy or sell are ripe when black.... but what do I know?
I get tens of thousands of yucca seeds and the seconds are lacking the black colour and I usually just throw them out (up to 10% of my count, depending on the wholesaler). Then again, what do I know?
Why not ask the seller?

Usually I don't leave a negative feedback to the seller, but come on guys...he should not advertise them as "fresh" if they look like hell, or if he knows that aren't fresh....seedscanada wrote:All trachy and yucca seeds i buy or sell are ripe when black.... but what do I know?

While I've never met bananajoe, I do know he is a knowledgeable grower of many tropical and sub-tropicals.
Why not email him your photo?
I bet he has a logical reply.

If you drink, don't drive. Don't even putt.

I purchased trachy seeds from him and had excellent germination results
