perhaps we should cut down all the trees! LOL It's amazing what we spend money on when we can't even pay the bills. Also, remember the Josuha Tree study USGS did a few month back? Seems like they have too much money!

Disagree. There is always room for further scientific study, and the funding should come from the people. I know the USA is in significant financial trouble (it's on the news up here all the time), y'all should just increase your taxes and cut your military budget, the science is more important than the military IMO!

I thought mercury was dangerous, well it was fatal years later for my father,

Or is Mercury usually found in soil in negligible amounts?

I Remember hearing the name 'Quicksilver' that is in in your article Barb,

Not many would asscociate Quicksilver with Mercury. It should not have been rolling freely on the floor at work either for my father to pick up.

They don't mention in the article it turns to cancer years later, they say its not to be taken lightly, it should'nt. Its much more dangerous than we realise.

It is indeed a wicked element.

I like scientific studies but should only pay for them when you have the money. We're spending money we don't have. It's out of control. Calculate the $ we spend on interest alone......it's down right wrong. We could study everything in the world 10x over just on the interest we spend every year. Do the calc......serious.
