Although we lost the leaves in the hard freeze two nights ago, the kiwis persist on the vine an are really tasty.

Anyone know how big do the fruits get on Actinidia arguta 'Issai'?

Great to see it bear fruit at a reasonably young age.
I planted one this fall, fingers crossed.

Good taste test, Adam...kiwi beer 😆

The fruit looks hairless, which is preferred I think compared to the others.

The plant tag didn't say a word about fertilization.
Any idea what to use on them?

Yeah...4 years is a while.
Kinda like fruit trees generally.

Large grapes or cherries seems to be the best comparison. Mine had a few small kiwi, but its young so it seemed to abort them. It happens on young plants in general anyways. Seem to be pretty hardy. My issai died down to the snow line though...
