Dean,
I emptied the containers out yesterday to check on them, looks like I should have done it a week or two back 😆

Lots of planting to do next spring.................

Have some areas around the house & property that might stay warm enough to support these.
I'm hoping at least 😀

Dean, do you have any more of those? I found a community pot that would work PERFECT for those.

Hey dean, you were kind enough to send me some sabal minor seeds in early Jan 2009, and they just germinating this week. I should be a sabal growing fool in a few months. Thanks again.

Hey you All,

Congratulations on all your success with growing the seeds. I to have had some successfully germinating in a pot and of course wild seedlings from spent seeds from from the plants.

It is weird this year though. It has seemed as though I have irrigated more and fertilized more as well. Yet the seed production is significantly lower than last year. By this I mean at this time last year the flower spikes rose a good 6-9' tall and had flowered enormously. This year even with the edition of irrigation and added fertilization the flower spikes are only top at about 4-5' tall. So it seems as though these palms are a little finicky. Maybe do to them whims of nature or expending themselves producing seeds. Your call?
