Hello I recently got some of these seeds and have them soaking now. Just looking for anything to trade.

Mike, ooooh...I just want to see what you do to make them pop, and how long it takes.

If I hadn't planted all my Jubaea seeds, I'd offer you some.
Will wait until next winter and see what we can trade then, OK?

Hey barb I was told by a gentalmen at a california nursery to soak the 1 to 2 weeks and todays the last day and I have some soil waiting for the seeds after I get off work today. I was also told to heat them during the day over 90f and room temp at night until they sprout Ill let you know how it works

Good instructions for the seeds, Mike.

An electric germinating mat works well for soaking seeds in a small bowl of water, but IMO it doesn't get warm enough for germination in soil.

The eriospatha x microspadix is an exciting cross.
There was a grower in Brazil who recently produced a fabulous Jubaea cross too, and plants are growing happily at his place.
Both hybrids are worth watching for cold hardiness... 😀

Even though your hybrid is expected to be smaller than B.eriospatha, you'll still have to buy a ladder. 😆

Please keep your camera handy for when they pop.
