Arctic high's keeping the snowstorms away.
We had a pretty good February where in the whole month we saw nothing more than 7 cm of snow but we saw over 45 mm of rain which is rare. It's very cold here! That warm up on Friday went from 7'C to -17'C on Saturday Morning and all the water is hard as rock. Next Friday to Monday with a range of 3 ...

Even though the BC coast had all that snow, I would still like to live there :D Don't worry because we got hit by 3 storms in a row that all of them dropped 10-15 cm of snow and now we have 48 cm in our yard. Your snow will not last long. Our coldest temperatures were -19C so around a 6b-7a. Right ...

We had a thunderstorm on May 31 which produced grape to golf ball sized hail at my house and baseball sized north of us. My car window was damaged. We had storm last night that produced 100

West warmth
I heard that the high pressure will stay in your area for some time and it could break down when it gets to our area :( so our forecast is nasty and cold with overnight frost. 30C and 40C does not feel bad in the arid and desert areas but the sun is strong. When we had 40C before (rare) it was ...

30 to 50+ cm that the west got made me think back in March 2008 when we had close to 100 cm of snow in 2 days during a MASSIVE blizzard!!! The snow is history now since 6 days of 20 to 27C weather that got a hold of it. We had our problems because of flooding and using sandbags to stop it coming to ...

Right now its 26C and yesterday was 23C and other day was 20C.
I was thinking because it's warm I thought I could plant some seeds. Hope it's not too early.

The weather here is a little sad since it's 3C and cold rain but thunderstorms possible tonight with a high of 5C and isolated severe possible!!! There is two creeks that are starting to flood now and it will only get worse. The whole forecast is seasonal or above for April and rain is coming.
I hope this does not get bad and as for the Trent river still has an ice jam and its melting rapidly. I will post photos soon.

Thanks Lucky1 hope it does end but it could take 4 weeks when everything is gone.
I will have pictures if the uploading thing works because it did not work last time. I have 98 cm snow in my
yard and we now have 15 ft high plowed parking lots. 8 ft drifts in my yard due to 70 km/h wind gusts.

of freezing rain and 8-10 hours of it.

Snowfall is an inch from breaking a record
We had seen 70% more snow than the norm. Today we picked up 2 cm of snow but they were calling for 5 to even 30 cm. The long range is not good also since we might get 5-10 cm more and will break the record that was in the 1930's. March looks really bad with snow and cold. The highest is only 3C and ...

We are getting a storm system for Sunday and Monday. We might get freezing rain then changing to rain with 7C.
Hopefully March will change with spring like weather. We have 2 feet of snow right now.
As far west as Alberta to coast of BC are getting spring like conditions with temperatures up to 15C.
