Hydrogen peroxide takes care of fungus gnats? It should be obvious, but that explains why my majesty palm doesn't have a gnat problem! (I often water it with some H2O2 mixed in) I'll have to try that with the rest of my palms :D It kills the larvae - so you have to keep watering everything ...

Good info everyone! I will be in Ft. Lauderdale Too! Thurs thru Sat then on a cruise to the Carribean (Bahamas, St Maarten, St. Thomas) then back to Ft. Lauderdale is it ok to collect seeds and bring them back?
