Barb I'm sure it will laugh at any heat you could give it if it was watered well in the ground. Jim and I talked for quiete some time on the phone the other day. We talked about how important it is about getting the roots as strong as possible with root stimulizer and potasium for the first few years. Along with other palm stuff. I think I might even hit my palms now with a good root stimulizer while the ground is still warm.

Yup, trace elements play a big factor.
And my little palms didn't get any of that.
I'm learning.
