I REALLY liked your spaceing with the Livistona. That looks really wonderful by its self. Really makes it stand out.

Craig that looks very impressive. Did you transplant them into bigger pots before pot planting into the ground? A couple more basjoos might be nice for that tropical look.

Thanks all!

John I did not pot them up prior to planting. I am finding more and more that my palms like to be a little rootbound. A pot about an inch larger than the rootball is they way to go. Funny that you mentioned basjoo, I am picking up a few this weekend...LOL.

Nicely done, Craig.
Great stuff.

Looks like good purchases from clearance rack (my fav place at the nursery).

That mulch looks good around those beauties.

Barb that looks excellent. That M. basjoo should be a monster by the end of summer. Are you going to pot it up as well or let it to regrow next year?

Thanks guys!
John

It'll be potted in Fall.
Had it in a sunnier spot last year.
All the leaves were shredded by wind.
This spot is sheltered from the wind, but only 6-7 hours of sun.
And it's hotter'n Haiti there.

Craig, yup, I'll just flood the whole bed once a week. Presto watering done.
