winter and spring have been mild so we are about a month ahead....here are afew pics...Enjoy


bananas front yard

new chinese golden lotus bananas


most of my canas overwintered without any problem this year, they'll grow to 8 or 9 feet easily


my tropical hot tub...lol


phoenix robellini beginning to flower, ( 8 flower pods coming out now)


figs, peaches and apples lookin good too


oleander overwintered too outside, came back from ground really strong and fast


added some fargesia robusta clumping bamboo, love that stuff


backyard bananas lookin good too....

Holy Hell that Robusta is happy 😯 The leaves are MASSIVE! May I suggest trying Fargesia Scabrida? Its the same Idea as the Robusta, but with steel blue culms!

I neve understood why they called Jersey "the garden state", untill I seen your yard mike. Keep it up!

Thanks guys. It is a banner year for gardening. Everything is huge, I am easily getting two large trash cans of pruning from trees, vines and shrubs every week...Insane!

Well, we are still down about 4 inches for the 90 day, but getting caught up slowly....In my opinion though, there is never enough rain!!!

You didnt get caught up in that stalled low?

We had about an inch of rain but it always seems to miss my town for some reason....We are south west of Philly and it always seems to dry up when it hits the city, and peter out by the time it reaches us
