Can't get over the length of those yucca spikes...wow 😯
what a show is coming up!

agree with the sedum acre ID...we had it years ago, H was ticked off when it spread into the lawn.
So "acre" is a good name 😆 😆

Hi Henoh.............thanks for the ID..............someone sent me some cuttings years ago.

Hi Barb............those tall blooming Yuccas are Y. constricta x filamentosa. I can send you some seeds if interested. They do have awesome looking blooms since the gap between the top of leaves to bottom of bloom is so large.

Looks like all that rain has greened everything up nice. Of course everything was nice and green before. 😀

We sure could use some of that rain, My texas horse mint looks like someone sprayed it with round-up in the heat. 😆

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Even the stems are awesome looking.

Thanks Tim, but I'll pass on the seeds.
Totally out of anywhere to plant them.
Still have some other stuff that's in pots for lack of a location. 😐

You're sending us a whack of heat, Aaron 😆 😆

Here's my patio temp at 10 a.m. this morning.

I have no idea where my area's weather sticker is located, but it must be in someone's fridge 😆 😆

Your sticker shows 100F, Aaron. 😕

Bet the yuccas and cactus are loving it

Yes, and later that day the weather sticker showed 105f, but our official high was 103f. My porch is on the south side, so it collects heat from the walls and rocks. It would run about 6deg above the temp on the north side of the house. It is always hotter in the desert than in town. So to make a long story short I would say it was about 104-106f out here. 😆

My plants don't seem to liking the heat, the rocks around them are to hot to touch. They will be ok, but I think even the yuccas like it in the 90's f. I on the other hand don't mind the heat.
