AWESOME bro!! The last 7th pic of you on the sideways tree really shows what I personally find to be paradise. I beach with a bar with no lines at the bar or the beach.
Great job. Glad you made it back safe.

Thanks for posting those gorgeous pics.
Gorgeous...had forgotten how blue the ocean can be! And that white sand!

And the palms 😀 😀 , I bet you were looking for a shovel 😉
Those little ones are just popping up all over the place.
They're even creating hedges out of palms along the driveway.

Was the LIZARD in a zoo (or on the hotel grounds?) 😯

The banana leaves have taken a real beating in their winds...

Did you happen to see some SEEDS 😉 (look up Rusty, look waaayyyy up...)
Barb

PS--didn't Wes (West Vancouver) just come back from Mexico? where is he/his pix?

The lizards were like wild cats down there...All over the place. They didn't let u get too close. I was about 5 feet from that guy when I took that pic. There were also wild Tucans everwhere. The ocean is very blue...the sand is more of a white/pink. The whitest sand I have ever seen was on the Gulf side of Florida. Speaking of Florida, I just booked a 5 day getaway to Fla. in January.
The bananas were HUGE. Like 20 feet plus HUGE. There were many nice, different palms all over. I would suggest Mexico to anyone.

Hi Barb and everyone. I just got back from a long but not long enough holiday in Maui not Mexico.
I thought the Mayan Riveria was palm heaven but it is nothing compared to Maui.
Maui is the place to live.

I will post pics soon.

Hola Arctic. Nice pics. Were you at Tulum for the beach pics? It looks like they have recovered well from hurricane Wilma in 2005. The Carribean side of Mexico has the nicest water and beaches. Bring any seeds back?

Where you going to in Florida? I can tell you were I go and have a little bungalow I have access to, but I will NEVER tell where as it is in a town that has very little vacationers and thats just the way I like it when I visit 😆 It is close to Tampa thou, I can tell you that much.
But I travel to Florida at least once a year and my favorite spots are.......
1) Tampa: the best beaches, best food, best climate.
2) Pensacola: the people in this town are UNBELIEVABLE! The nicest people in ANY town I have EVER been in.
3) St. Augustine: one of the best "beach town" feeling cities down there. A LOT of History for you history buffs too.
4) Navarre Beach: The "beach town" feeling is overwhelming. A beach trinket shop every 100ft, w/ shells, surf equip, etc.
5) Lake City: What a wonderful little city located in the "country" away from the big cities.
6) Clearwater: If you go there, you MUST go to the Clearwater Aquarium. It has harmed and disabled ocean animals that are just ADORABLE!!! You just want to cuddle with them and love them.
7) Jacksonville: Whatever it is you like to do, Jacksonville has it. Never at a loss for something to do.
8) St. Petersburg: NICE beaches, but some can be crowded. But all in all, pretty clean beaches for the amount of people.
9) Pace/Milton: Pensacola subs, wonderful little towns outlining the bigger city. GREAT people, close to the ocean but not too close.
10) Orlando: Family loves it, but for me, there is just too many other places to go to that are funner.

Kansas Wes,
Sounds like you've picked out a new career "Real Estate Promotion".
Have never been to Florida; you make it sound very inviting.

West Van Wes,
So right you are...have been all over the Hawaiian islands.
I can almost smell the Plumeria blossoms just thinking about it.
All the islands are spectacular if you're a tropical plant lover...and the humidity is...yup...wonderful because it's perfume-laden.
Hub and I honeymooned at Kaanapali Resort...eons ago.
