I usually put them in a ziploc a baggie and germinate them. I have hundreds of small trachy seedlings that I plant in the yard or sell to anyone that wants one.

It is one of the trachies in the front yard. It is my largest one.
It is also the one were most of the trachy seedlings are naturilizing in the ground.
Yrachy seeds germonate very easily and they do not need heat. I may just accidently drop some seeds throughout Vancouver.

I think it has been outside for 14 years. It was planted as a 2 gallon $19.99 palm seedling.
They grow very quickly here in North Van. Once they reach a couple of feet of trunk they grow 2 to 3' a year.

It may be a common view to you, but I have never been directly below the fronds and close to the trunk of a 8' to 10' Palm.

I hope one day you get a chance to be directly under a large palm.
Mine is now almost 20' in height and it is really cool to look up at it.

You folks must've laughed your brains out seeing my 30 year old palm that is obviously (now I know!) stunted from being in a succession of pots all these years. But you were very kind to not say that.

Hey Wes, with that giant beauty, have you tried to Google Earth your address (don't tell us...maybe we'll find it by accident!) to see your palm at your house by satellite. After all, "they" say you can see an orange on a picnic table...(how's that for "big bro"?) 😥
