Here are some pics of palms I planted in March 2007 and March 2008. Also pics of many palms in my palm/garage and my palm/workshop. Greenhouse is a must do SOON!

Jay I use that welder infrequently now as I`m sure you can see my shop has been taken over by palms. Paul I have about 1/3 of my Washy`s spoken for next year so I`m hoping my greenhouse won`t have to be as large. Palmetto thanks for your comments. Another couple of years with the palms planted and I should be able to sleep better during our cold snaps. Steve I think that would go over like a lead balloon Re: add more bays to the garage. Every time it snows I promised her I would clean her car off. No snow ,no snow ,no snow there that should do it. NOT. Just a matter of when and how much.

Very nice John!

Are the Trachys in the ground under cover? You guys have already had some pretty brisk nights out there.

Looks great!

No cover yet Duncan the lowest it`s been at my place has been -3c . I usually cover them when it gets to -9c. I`ll post some pics when they are protected.

John,
If I ever build a garage and pack it full of palms... I think my car would disown me. 😆

Those palms awesome! Are they all going in the yard one day? 8)

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

wonderful collection

It's so sad to cannot plant them in the yard.
Sometimes I wonder how you guys can choose among the exotics to set up in your yard.
I'm in a 8a zone, and I'm already disappointed not to have access to some species

John, Great pics and you have an unbelievable collection of palms. I showed my wife the pics of your garage and palms just to prove to her that I am not the only one with a problem. THANKS for your help. She now thinks you are crazier than I am (and I mean that in a god way). 😆

John's got fabulous huge palms and bananas at his place. He hasn't posted pics of the palms that fill each room of his house! They're just as beautiful as the ones pictured. Even has an 8 foot tall Papyrus!

I visited to drop off his new Bottle Palm...there is nothing so exhilarating as looking INTO a sea of palms and bananas and yuccas.

In fact that's how I found which driveway was his.
Forget looking for the address.
Just look for the driveway with 100 palms inside the open-door garage 😆

And yup, it was John's place!

Holy smokes 😯 ... You've got a ton of stuff on the go there. Make me wonder what your eventual plans are? They all look healthy.

Cheers, Barrie.
