Great pics! Looks like you have some serious planting to do. My back is aching just thinking about it.
Cheers, Barrie.

No more planting this year Barrie. I`m going to concentrate on the six I have in the ground so far. I`m planning a major landscping project for Sept and will decide where more things will be planted next spring.

Fantastic collection. I showed your pics to my wife and I think that she is more accepting of my small collection.

Thanks

Allen

You don't have to be crazy to grow palms in Alberta..... But it helps

Laaz my wallet is still smoldering 😆 Arctic my wife enjoys the palms as much as me. That wasn`t the case when I first started collecting palms.

Oh my wife enjoys them as well, she thinks they are very beautiful. If they were free then she would like them even more, know what I mean?

Great pics John. Are you still starting your cacti area this summer?

Fabulous, John, great plants, great yard.
Love the instant privacy on your sundeck.

Hope you don't mind my saying so but
that Trachy in the wooden box is very thirsty.
Spears almost fold up when they're dehydrated.

Mine looked like that for a week and I finally flooded it (it's in the ground).
Perked up immediately.
It's tough to keep any water near the rootball when in a wooden box, and
wind goes right through wooden slats.

I'd bring it to my house 😆 😆 and water it FOR YOU, 8)

Barb the hot weather we`ve been having in combination with the trip up from San Diego probably has shocked it a little. I find Trachy`s don`t like our hot dry sunny weather and do better in part ,to mostly shaded. It gets regular drip irrigation. Good thing we got rain today for the first time in weeks we need it badly.
