I went outside last night in cold september like nights but hot days to. The one photo shows sagittarius (archer or teapot) and the other Ursa major (The Big Dipper) Im sorry there are not plant photos but please enjoy them 🙂 Sorry about this.

Taken by a SLR Canon EOS Rebel.

I did a 8 second exposure (shutter speed)

Must be SLR to work for the moon. Other camaras that have

Shutter 8 sec or 100 will work. You can try it to.

Nice shots! I'm big into astronomy and have a rather large telescope. Try pointing your camera at Andromeda galaxy in the constellation Andromeda. An 8 second exposure you will be able to see the galaxy very clearly. The Andromeda galaxy is the closest galaxy to the milky way and the largest one in our local group. Just make sure you don't take exposures when the moon is out!

Thank you. I have a 10 inch telescope but its a dob. The Andromeda galaxy is at the east at 10.00 in the evening. When the moon is a ''new moon'' I will wake up at 2.00 in the morning when its high in my sky and when there is no moon. But getting very cold now and fall is coming. I have some more photos to show.
