yours looks great. you sent me a couple of these over a year ago, and they are struggling. I'd be embarrassed to post a picture of it, you'd think I was neglecting it or something. I think they got too much sun early in spring, the leaves got burned, and they have struggled ever since. I put them in a shaded area , they were in small pots and then I think they dried out too fast , etc, etc, etc. seems like whatever could go wrong did go wrong. I have them inside now under fluorescent lights and hopefully they'll recover.

I've struggled with these too, this is one of the few ones I have that the leaf tips haven't curled up and turned brown, ( not too bad at least)

I'll add a few more to send out your way, seem to have a few left 8)

that is exactly what mine have done, the leaf tips have browned and curled. But then I can see a new leaf emerging and I think its going to get better, but it never does. Do you think that is part of their genetics or are we missing a nutrient, not enough humidity , too much water, not enough water, etc. They seem to be very finicky.

I haven't quite figured these out yet, they seem to tolerate higher light levels and grow well with lows above 70* and highs of 80*+
Other than that, I keep them in filtered light and on the dry side. ( I've had them go through lows in the 30s in the GH, maybe they are still in shock from that 😯

The ones here do seem to be doing better, so maybe it's just a stage they go through. (a majority of seedling photos on the Internet show the same symptoms)

The house is loaded up again, It's nice to be able to watch a Palm grow while it's snowing outside 8)

Washingtonia robusta still growing.

A Pygmy Date Palm forest, these always seem to take off when brought inside.
