Had my son look for some land down there in Texas for me when I retire,he said if you could find land for sale,small plot now will sale $200,000.
It's what they call the Texas Riviera.
He said cross the border,and we could get more the buck there!
Neighbor a block or two around the corner from me said he sold his house and bought one in Panama,said it was the fourth
best sought after retirement tropical area,and your money would go a lot further as well.

I've been to Panama, talk about tropical! I don't think you can find a plant that would die from cold there. Maybe one! LOL...

Lot of people in California have gone back to panning for gold,and there are finding it too.
I wonder if there is any in The Arkansas river?
It's just a couple blocks from the house!!!LOL

Im very late with posting but heres some pics of my bismarkia starting to recover. It lost ALL its fronts last year. I envy you guys able to grow palms from seeds. I murder seedlings lol. I cheat and just buy and older palm.

Thanxs barb I was ready to thow it out after it lost its leaves from cold damage. my wife said keep it because it may bounce back and she was right.
