WOW. I did the slide show presentation. thats an impressive display of palm hoarding. No wonder the cost of palm trees is so high, you control the entire market. very very nice job and lots of work to be sure. Thanks for the pics.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Thanks guys. Kent I didn`t know that slideshow option was even available on multiply.com.

John, you've got some neat palms there. I have a feeling I'll be seeing you next spring.
Do some of those stay in your garden for the winter then? Enclosures on them at all for winter?
John,
I'm Speechless! 😯 Totaly Awsome!!

Wow, I was going to just try big old pots over my palms this year but this looks much better.
Do you provide heat in those shelters at all?
Ron I use 2 200 watt infrared heat lamps per palm hut. I hope to not be using them much this winter (El nino).

John, what kind of overhead lighting, if any, do you use in your garage?

Kent I used a four grow bulb flourescent light fixture and a 600 watt metal halide. I moved the lights around quite a bit so all my palms bananas get equal lighting.

John that is the coolest thing I have seen in a long time!!! Now that is what I call a Monster Garage! Sweet!!! I'm going to look at the slide show again. I think you are my new palm idol!!! Wow do you have a nice collection.
Bill
Yessirree, he does indeed have a nice collection!
John, it's amazing how much everything has grown since I saw them last year!
And I see a couple more young palms that interest me too...will let you know once I figure out what they are.
Your yuccas and bananas are getting so big, nice growth on the agaves and joshua trees.
Washies and trachies look very healthy; winter outside certainly did them no harm at all.
Your bottle palm has grown more than mine! 😥
I like the option below the pics where everything's named. Looking again.
Didn't see your Egyptian papyrus? Mine almost died in the heat this year, despite being in the fishpond.
Well done!

If you drink, don't drive. Don't even putt.
Thanks Bill for your comments. I`ll be watching to see how your huge Washy`s do this winter. Barb that Bottle palm was transplanted in April to a 15 gal pot. The papyrus croaked early spring. I`m surprised that the Trachy`s have done so well considering they are in full sun and heat 90% of the day. They have put out Eight to ten green new fronds each so far. Last year some of the fronds burnt in the heat. Let me know if your interested in anything and I`ll bring it up when we build your palm huts.

John,
I'd like a Butia eriospatha...stunning!
Any size you want to sell.
Other than that, I've got to hold off ... too many plants here now.
Too bad about the papyrus...are they "dividable"?
If so, I'll cut mine in half for you.
It's just a midget now, having lost its tall spikes to wind.
